Oliver – an outstanding performance!

So last night myself & deputy Mayor John Cook, attended Solway Spotlights production of Oliver at Solway Community School. It was a great honour for us to be invited to the show. 

It was an amazing show, all the children & staff involved did such an incredible job.  The enthusiasm shown by all the budding actors was great. For the two schools to come together and produce such a fantastic performance is a credit to both schools and the town. We had such admiration for getting up in front of so many people and performing. 

On behalf of the council, a huge well done! Good luck for tonight’s show.
